I've never purchased a guitar online before, so I was bit weary at first. It was my first time buying a used guitar but I would definitely recommend this company. If fact I'm still haven'tīeen able to put it down. Just received my used 1997 Les Paul Studio DC. All electronics are in perfect working condition. The volume pot is a DiMarzio replacement & the tone pot dates to '74. Master volume & tone controls with black knobs. Bass weighs 7 lbs 9.9 oz.Įlectronics: Original single coil pickup with black cover - 5.94K ohms. 3-ply white pickguard with black thumb-rest. Top-loading bridge with double "barrel" saddles. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.īody: Offset, solid poplar body finished in Olympic White. Single round string tree & open-gear Fender tuners in perfect working condition. Headstock decals are in great shape with no bits missing. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Neck: Nicely rounded & somewhat chunky maple neck with some really pretty flame figuring. The Olympic White finish has aged into more of a cream color & shows variegation throughout.

The rosewood fingerboard matches well with the aged Olympic White finish, and thanks to a pro set up from our specialist, the bass plays & sounds wonderful.Ĭosmetic Condition: Typical condition for a 40 year old bass - various nicks, chips, dents & dings scratches, finish blemishes & wear. Nearly all original with some really cool flame figuring in the neck & headstock.
